J Sells Jewelry — Limited One (1) Year Warranty

Certificate of Protection for Laboratory-Grown Diamond Jewelry

Section 1 — What This Warranty Covers

J Sells Jewelry warrants to the original purchaser that the laboratory-grown diamond jewelry purchased will be free from manufacturing defects and diamond defects for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase. This warranty covers the following:

  1. Diamond Defects: Any structural defect in the laboratory-grown diamond that was present at the time of sale but not disclosed, including internal fractures or cleavage not reflected on the IGI certificate.
  2. Stone Setting Defects: Failure of the stone setting resulting in a loose or displaced diamond due to a manufacturing defect in the setting itself.
  3. Metal Defects: Structural failure of the band or setting caused by a manufacturing defect, including prong failure under normal wear conditions.
  4. Certification Discrepancy: If the diamond does not match the specifications listed on the accompanying IGI certificate.

Section 2 — What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover, and J Sells Jewelry shall have no obligation with respect to, any of the following:

  1. Lost or stolen jewelry or diamonds. J Sells Jewelry is not responsible for loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance of any item.
  2. Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper care including exposure to harsh chemicals, extreme heat, or impact.
  3. Normal wear and tear, scratches, or surface abrasions on the metal band.
  4. Damage caused by unauthorized repair, alteration, or resizing by a third-party jeweler.
  5. Rhodium plating wear on white gold bands (this is considered normal maintenance).
  6. Any item for which proof of purchase or the original IGI certificate cannot be provided.

Section 3 — How to Make a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser must:

  1. Contact J Sells Jewelry via Facebook Messenger within the warranty period.
  2. Provide the original sales receipt and IGI certificate number.
  3. Provide a clear description and photographs of the defect being claimed.
  4. Make the item available for inspection by J Sells Jewelry.

Upon verification of a valid warranty claim, J Sells Jewelry will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or provide store credit for the defective item. J Sells Jewelry reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy.

Section 4 — Limitation of Liability

THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF J SELLS JEWELRY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE ITEM. J SELLS JEWELRY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND.

Terms & Conditions

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. This warranty is void if the item has been altered, repaired by an unauthorized party, or if the IGI certificate number has been tampered with. All diamonds sold are IGI certified laboratory-grown diamonds and are not natural or mined diamonds. The buyer acknowledges this distinction at the time of purchase. Lost or stolen items are explicitly excluded from all warranty coverage regardless of circumstance. Warranty claims must be submitted within the one (1) year warranty period; claims submitted after expiration will not be honored.
